Course in multicultural understanding and human rights for Russian journalism students. Berlin, Germany. May 2017.

  • ´All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights´claims the first article in the Universal declaration of Human Rights. Laconic and simple. Pretty easy to understand. However, when it comes to the reality what is hidden beyond theses words appears to be an incredibly complex issue. Read and see pictures in this long-read, produced by students from St. Petersburg State University. Course in Multicultural Understanding and Human Rights: step by step

Three days human rights workshop for Russian and Norwegian journalism students. Volda University College, Norway, May 2016

  • It was really great to share opinions between Norwegian and Russians from different points of view.
  • It was very informative, unusual, not boring.
  • The best part of the workshop, was to communicate with the Norwegian students (...)
  • Much knowledge, warm relationships with Norwegian students, many things to think about.
  • I wanted to join the workshop to learn more about human rights because it is most important to know what rights we have as humans. Then we as journalists can write about it, when they are not followed.
  • Very interesting to see the Russian perspective on how human rights are in Russia and how their society is.
  • Great to meet Russian students and to talk to them, face to face.
