Questions for discussion

Description

The questions below can be discussed in the plenary after the lecture "New media".

  1. Do you think the competition for the elusive attention of the audience will lead to a complete visual representation of the content and to a crisis for verbal/textual journalism?

  2. Multiplatform new media are forcing journalists to work in an unusual environment (on social networks, on messenger), adapting the material to the communication style of that environment. Do you think that such use of multiple languages and content personification will lead to “journalism of fact” being replaced by “journalism of opinion”?

  3. Can you find an “antidote” to the poisoning of media by “fake news”?

Now the students are ready to work in groups on certain aspects connected to journalism and the challenges of the new media.
