Description

Aim: To make the students aware of the fact that mentioning ethnic/national backgrounds in criminal cases sometimes can be a source of discrimination.

  1. The students are divided into groups of 2-5 participants. The task is to discuss when it may be reasonable for journalists to mention a person’s ethnic/national background in criminal cases. When is, and should ethnicity be relevant? (20 min.).
  2. The groups will present their results in a plenary session.
